Join a flagship Defence programme contributing to the development and deployment of data management applications within a secure and complex environment. This role offers the opportunity to gain security clearance, work with cutting-edge technologies like Palantir Foundry, and build strategic capabilities in data modelling and application development.
Collaborate with client stakeholders to identify and prioritise Key User Requirements (KURs) that drive application development. Design and develop data-driven applications and features aligned to user needs, ensuring deliverables meet operational requirements.
Build and manage data pipelines for ingestion and live data integration, ensuring data quality and reliability. Lead application and feature deployment through the 'Go Live' process, coordinating with security and operations teams.
Conduct user trials and demonstrations to refine product functionality based on feedback. Ensure architectural coherence across a portfolio of applications, maintaining consistency and integration standards.
Scope and define requirements for new applications or enhancements, working closely with product owners and technical teams. Operate or learn to operate Palantir Foundry as part of the delivery stack.
Must be able to work on site in Derby 2-3 days per week with potential to travel to other sites when required. A current UK Security Clearance is essential for this role.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or Computer Science required. Strong understanding of data modelling including conceptual, logical, and physical models.
Experience in building scalable, efficient data systems and architectures. Ability to perform data profiling and resolve data quality issues. Experience in application design and development is essential.
