Join Visa's Compliance team as a Transaction Monitoring Associate in Pasay City, Philippines. This hybrid position offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of financial crime prevention within the global payments industry.
You will conduct day-to-day transaction monitoring to identify potentially fraudulent or illegal activities. Your role involves analyzing payment and compliance data from multiple sources to identify trends and patterns that may indicate financial crime. You will proactively escalate urgent cases to the MLRO/DMLRO for further review and conduct screening on Politically Exposed Persons (PEPs) and sanctioned entities, investigating potential hits thoroughly.
Working across teams and departments, you will proactively identify and resolve operational compliance queries while completing compliance administration tasks such as maintaining client records. You will assist with reviewing current processes and suggest improvements to both processes and systems used. Staying current with regulatory changes and financial crime typologies affecting the business is essential.
Minimum 3 years experience in transaction monitoring, compliance, fraud, or risk is required. You should have a strong interest in financial crime and pursuing a career in Compliance within payments, financial services, technology, or FX industry. Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (AML), economic/financial sanctions, and Payment Services/E-money Directive is essential.
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to work in a methodical manner with high attention to detail are crucial. You must be able to work independently in a high-speed environment while managing assigned tasks to meet daily targets. An accountable worker who takes ownership of cases is what we're looking for.
