AECOM is seeking an experienced Principal Designer specializing in Dry Utilities with BIM Electrical expertise for our Bengaluru team. This role performs complex BIM and Plant Data Centric assignments involving multiple application platforms to achieve set results and deadlines.
You will work under limited supervision to deliver high-quality design outputs. The role includes providing training and technical support to design staff on Building Information Modeling systems, creating 3D models using project specifications and content.
You will provide direct project support and production for assigned projects, creating drawings as required using standards and content to meet job requirements. This includes modeling objects within drawings such as doors, lights, and other building elements.
Candidates should hold a Diploma or BE in Electrical & Electronics with more than 12 years of post-qualification experience. Experience with Civil3D software tool is required, along with work experience in ME Urban Infrastructure Design works, preferably dry utilities design experience in consulting firms.
Good knowledge of Revit is an added advantage. Strong communication skills in English are desirable for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
