The Finance Manager, Corporate FP&A plays a pivotal role in consolidating, analyzing, reporting, and projecting enterprise and segment financial results, as well as providing financial decision support to the finance executive team. This role is required to understand enterprise business drivers across financial statements and synthesize large amounts of data down to pertinent, compelling conclusions. This role proactively partners across corporate, segment, and BU finance teams to understand and challenge financial trends, outcomes, and outlooks. This role serves as a prime source of financial information provided to senior management. This role requires a candidate with advanced Excel and data storytelling skills, a knack for synthesizing data into compelling summaries, outstanding organization, excellent communication & collaboration skills, and a proactive mindset. The ideal candidate should have a strong financial and broad business background, be resourceful, and excel in creating structure from ambiguity. The ideal candidate has experience up and down the P&L, understands balance sheet mechanics and efficiency measures, and is well versed in cash flow drivers. Position location: Deerfield, IL - Hybrid (Flexibility to work from home Mondays and Fridays) RESPONSIBLIITIES: What you will be doing Collaborate with the Corporate FP&A, Segment FP&A, and BU Finance teams on planning, forecasting, analysis and reporting. Provide ad hoc financial analysis and modeling proactively and on an as-needed basis, highlighting financial trends across all financial statements which could hinder or accelerate performance. Collaborate with broader finance organization- Controllership, Treasury, Tax, Investor Relations, Internal Audit- to enhance cross-functional alignment, process, and effectiveness. Create and manage monthly, quarterly, and as-needed executive presentation material, ranging from business review materials, to board of director presentations, and compensation committee decks. Own the development and tracking of annual bonus plan metrics and equity compensation targets. Provide recurring updates on progress to targets and ensure appropriate accounting and forecasting mechanics. Serve as a main point of contact to the Finance Systems Administration team, driving continuous improvement in month-end/quarter-end systems process, forecasting mechanics and efficiency, budgeting/forecast process re-design, etc. Manage a team of two. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field required. Experience directly managing and leading teams required. 3+ years of experience in finance or related field required. 5+ years of experience preferred. Team supervisory or management experience preferred. Advanced proficiency in Excel and broader Microsoft suite of applications, with the ability to navigate complex financial models and data. Exceptional data storytelling and advanced PowerPoint skills. Strong organizational skills and experience in establishing new processes. Resourceful with a proactive attitude and the ability to work in ambiguous situations. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Polished executive presence. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Experience in Corporate FP&A or enterprise-wide financial planning preferred. Experience working cross-functionally with Corporate FP&A, business unit finance, and executive leadership to align financial insights with corporate strategy a plus.
