About the Role
This Field Technical Support Specialist position focuses on providing technical support for Poly video conferencing systems to corporate customers in Japan. You will be responsible for confirming product logs, verifying workarounds, and proposing solutions to customer issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for Poly video conferencing systems to corporate customers
- Manage partner relationships and conduct regular progress meetings
- Handle business escalations including product issues, customer対応,and closing対応
- Provide field support with on-site customer visits (approximately once per month)
- Report to global teams on product issues and customer matters
- Apply advanced technical knowledge to solve complex business issues
- Integrate technical knowledge across multiple technology areas
Required Experience
- Business escalation handling experience
- Vendor management experience
- Field support experience
- Business experience with video conferencing systems, telephones, or IP systems
- Understanding of Japanese customer business practices
- Business-level English and native-level Japanese
