Department: eCommerce & Digital Operations Duration: Summer 2026 (12 Weeks) Target Graduation: May 2027 Reports to: Sr. Supervisor, eCommerce Operations & Program Management Essential Duties & Responsibilities About the Role We are seeking a highly motivated eCommerce Program Management Intern to support cross‑functional project delivery and initiatives that bridge digital customer experiences with the backend systems that power them. This role is ideal for a detail‑oriented, organized, and curious individual who enjoys problem‑solving, collaborating with diverse teams, and understanding how digital experiences come together behind the scenes. Throughout this internship, you’ll gain hands-on exposure to both creative marketing workstreams and technical development projects. You’ll learn how customer-facing experiences on a website are driven by configurations, data flows, and technical decisions—and how thoughtful project planning helps deliver seamless experiences and improved business efficiency. What You’ll Do Digital Experience & Systems Optimization Participate in initiatives aimed at improving operational efficiency and reducing manual work. Collaborate with business and technical partners to assess current site experiences and identify improvement opportunities. Assist in analyzing customer journeys, friction points, and experience gaps. Learn how backend processes, data structures, and system logic influence how customers interact with digital content. Technical & Backend-Focused Projects Help document and organize technical requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for system enhancements. Support sprint planning activities, including backlog refinement, ticket organization, and cross-team communication. Assist in defining, implementing, and validating backend updates, configuration changes, and site behaviors. Develop a foundational understanding of APIs, system integrations, and platform settings—and how they support customer experiences. Creative & Marketing-Focused Projects Partner with UX, copywriting, and design teams by organizing content inputs and project requirements. Review digital content for accuracy, clarity, consistency, and customer impact. Support email production workflows, including content creation, QA, and technical implementation. General Program Coordination Produce clear documentation such as meeting notes, project summaries, and timeline updates. Work with UX, developers, marketing, and merchandising teams to progress deliverables. Assist with organizing project timelines, identifying risks, and tracking dependencies. Contribute to problem‑solving discussions by asking thoughtful questions and helping clarify business needs. Required : Actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, or a related Marketing field, with an expected graduation in May 2027. Detail‑oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple moving pieces. A strong critical thinker who enjoys solving problems and asking insightful questions. Comfortable working with teams across marketing, UX, development, analytics, and merchandising. Interested in digital commerce, customer experience, and program management. Curious about how backend systems influence online customer experiences. Excited to work in a fast‑paced, highly collaborative environment.
