AECOM is seeking a talented Designer specializing in Substation design with BIM Electrical expertise for our Bengaluru team. This role performs complex BIM and Plant Data Centric assignments involving multiple application platforms to achieve set results and deadlines.
You will work under limited supervision to deliver high-quality design outputs for substation projects. The role includes providing training and technical support to design staff on Building Information Modeling systems, creating 3D models using project specifications and content.
You will provide direct project support and production for assigned projects, creating drawings as required using standards and content to meet job requirements. This includes modeling objects within drawings such as doors, lights, and electrical components.
Candidates should hold a Diploma or BE in Electrical & Electronics with more than 3 years of post-qualification experience. Work experience in substation design is required for this position.
Good knowledge of BIM and Revit software tools is essential. Strong communication skills in English are desirable for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
