Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Development Senior Lead to join our Business Development team within Cards and Personal Loans. This individual will support the team in the identification, negotiation, and execution of external partnerships in support of business priorities, with a focus on delivering card product benefits and loyalty services.
In this role, you will conduct ongoing market and competitor research across the Cards and Personal Loans business areas to identify and evaluate business development opportunities. You will partner with business leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to align partnership opportunities to business-defined priorities and strategies.
You will develop clear, compelling outreach and pitch materials to prospective partners and support partnership discussions. The role includes supporting partnership structuring and negotiations, including development of deal constructs and supporting financials. You will coordinate hand-offs with internal stakeholders to support post-deal execution and ongoing partner management, and support governance, risk, and control activities related to partnership approval and execution.
Candidates must have 7+ years of Strategy and Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education. Strong business acumen, excellent negotiation skills, and proven track record in partnership development are essential for success in this role.
