Wells Fargo is seeking a Business Development Director to join our Business Development team within Cards and Personal Loans. This individual will lead a team focused on identifying, negotiating, and executing external partnerships in support of Cards and Personal Loans business priorities, with a focus on delivering card product benefits and loyalty services.
You will work closely with Cards and Personal Loans leadership and partners to manage business development priorities and roadmap. The role involves sourcing business development and partnership opportunities, serving as the liaison between Cards and Personal Loans and other lines of businesses on broader enterprise opportunities.
You will field and vet in-bound opportunities from external partners, lead end-to-end deal structuring and negotiation, and establish and manage routines with leadership on deal activity and pipeline. The role includes coordinating hand-offs with internal teams on post-deal execution and ongoing partner management. Additionally, you will lead, develop, and mentor a high-performing team.
Candidates must have 10+ years of Strategy and Planning experience, 4+ years of management or leadership experience, and 8+ years of Business Development experience. Proven track record of closing significant partnerships and leading teams is essential.
