We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AP & Bookkeeping Manager to lead our finance operations. In this role, you will oversee all Accounts Payable (AP) and bookkeeping activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance with Israeli tax laws, and alignment with global parent company policies. You will manage a team and serve as the primary interface between local operations and international finance stakeholders. This position focuses on exemplary leadership, effective mentorship, and professional guidance, in addition to demonstrating comprehensive expertise in accounting practices. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor the AP and bookkeeping team, ensuring efficient workflow and professional growth. Full Cycle Bookkeeping: Oversee day-to-day financial transactions up to trial balance, including VAT and Tax withholding, vendor reconciliations, month end accruals, fixed assets transactions, IC reconciliation, Concur system, etc. Accounts Payable Management: Lead the end-to-end AP process, including invoice processing, payment runs, and maintaining strong relationships with local and international vendors, Interface with procurement team, Inventory and GR, Car lease and utilities. Statutory Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate reporting to Israeli authorities, including VAT, Withholding Tax (WHT), and other special bookkeeping regulations requirements. MNE Alignment: Coordinate month-end and year-end closing processes in accordance with both local (IL-GAAP) and global (e.g., US-GAAP/IFRS) standards. Intercompany Reconciliations: Manage and reconcile intercompany balances and transactions within the global group. Audit Support: Act as the main point of contact for external auditors and tax assessments during annual audits and tax reviews. Process Improvement: Implement and optimize automated financial systems, AI tools to enhance department efficiency.
Certification: Certified Bookkeeper (Type 3 / Chief Bookkeeper) is mandatory. Experience: At least 10 years of bookkeeping experience, with at least 2-3 years in a managerial or lead role within a high-tech or global company. Software Proficiency: Hands-on experience with ERP systems SAP and Oracle is highly preferred. Advanced Excel skills (pivots, VLOOKUPs) are essential. Languages: Fluent English (written and spoken) is mandatory for daily communication with the parent company. Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of Israeli tax regulations, and fixed asset management. Soft Skills: Strong attention to details, ability to work under tight global deadlines, and excellent interpersonal skills for vendor and stakeholder management.
