Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our growing Project Management team in Northern Ireland. Due to continued growth, we are looking to appoint a Project Manager to work with our client on the delivery of exciting energy projects within the Utilities sector in Belfast, United Kingdom.
You will lead the delivery of major energy and utilities programmes aligned with strategic business objectives. This includes defining the overall programme approach, key milestones, and major deliverables to ensure successful outcomes across complex projects.
The role requires developing and maintaining realistic project plans, monitoring progress against agreed quality and performance criteria, and ensuring appropriate allocation of resources across all project phases.
You will establish and oversee project controls related to budget, schedule, quality, risk, and activity tracking, including the setup of necessary structures and processes to ensure effective project governance.
You will manage one direct report dedicated to the delivery of the project/programme, providing leadership and guidance to ensure successful delivery while fostering knowledge sharing and development within the wider team. The position requires inspiring and motivating team members to achieve high performance.
You will oversee the lead consultant to ensure timely and quality delivery of agreed outputs, identify and manage stakeholders effectively, ensuring regular, transparent, and timely communication at all levels. The role demands fostering collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders while analyzing complex issues to drive project success.
