Stanford Medicine Children's Health is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager for Design to join our team in Palo Alto, CA. This role is responsible for the programming, planning, and design of large-scale projects, ensuring successful completion within budget, on schedule, and meeting all program objectives and applicable government regulations.
As a Senior Project Manager, you will act as the primary liaison between clients/users and all project participants including consultants, contractors, vendors, and outside jurisdictional agencies. You will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and assigning work to project participants and assigned project managers. Your role ensures that all design projects meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.
The essential functions include overseeing project performance, managing stakeholder communications, ensuring regulatory compliance, and maintaining project timelines and budgets. Employees must abide by all Joint Commission Requirements including sensitivity to cultural diversity, patient care, patient rights, ethical treatment, safety and security, emergency management, teamwork, and adherence to safety and quality programs.
Candidates should possess strong project management skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience managing complex design projects in healthcare or similar regulated environments. The ideal candidate demonstrates leadership capabilities and can effectively coordinate multiple stakeholders toward common project goals.
