NBCUniversal is seeking a Senior Manager of Development Licensing & Compliance to lead the end-to-end process for securing all statutory and non-statutory approvals, licenses, permits, consents, and planning permissions required for the UK Project.
You will work under the supervision of the Director and Vice President of Legal & Business Affairs, overseeing the team coordinating submissions, managing complex approval pathways, and maintaining the comprehensive consents register. The role ensures adherence to government approvals and development agreements, collaborating with internal teams, consultants, government authorities, general contractors, and other stakeholders to manage compliance risks and maintain robust documentation. You will contribute to training on planning conditions and provide clear, timely reporting to internal and external stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment with regulatory requirements. The position provides leadership and strategic oversight of the end-to-end process for securing all statutory and non-statutory permits, licenses, consents, planning permissions, and related regulatory approvals required under national and local frameworks. You will oversee and develop the team responsible for coordinating submissions, managing complex approval pathways, maintaining the consents register, and ensuring full compliance with associated conditions across the project lifecycle.
The ideal candidate has extensive experience in development licensing, regulatory compliance, and planning permissions. Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills are essential.
