Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Estimator to join our dynamic team supporting large-scale construction projects and programs. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on complex, multi-regional projects while driving cost excellence across our portfolio.
Key Responsibilities: You will be responsible for developing comprehensive cost plans and estimates from concept through detailed design phases across multiple geographic regions. This includes collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders to deliver accurate financial projections. You'll present updated cost plans at critical design milestones and provide program-level estimates for specific scopes of work. The role involves coordinating, managing, and supervising support staff while reviewing proposed design changes and new technologies to prepare estimates within appropriate accuracy levels.
Strategic Impact: Beyond day-to-day estimating, you'll help drive cost model trends by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing cost information from completed projects. You'll assess the cost-effectiveness of alternative products and value engineering ideas at a program level, supporting training initiatives for both Development and external Estimating teams on new project estimating tools and templates. The role also includes supporting preparation of leadership presentations for client Preconstruction and Estimating teams and delivering Life Cycle Costing models.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, engineering, or a field related to construction. Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience required. Experience in a collaborative team environment is essential. SOX control responsibilities may be part of this role, which are to be adhered to where applicable.
