About the Position
Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager within the New York Real Estate Program Management service line. This senior role will lead the delivery of construction program and portfolio management services across a blend of capital projects and strategic investment programs for large, sophisticated clients.
Sustainability Focus
In addition to core program leadership, the ideal candidate will bring experience supporting sustainability or Net Zero-aligned initiatives such as energy programs, decarbonization roadmaps, carbon-impact analysis, or sustainability-focused investment prioritization. While not a dedicated sustainability SME role, familiarity with NZ concepts will help guide clients through increasingly important investment decisions.
Core Responsibilities
- Oversee portfolio planning, program controls and prioritization processes aligned with strategic objectives
- Ensure benefits realization and adherence to program success criteria
- Define program roles, responsibilities and governance structures including RACI and decision pathways
- Manage controls processes including risk, change, issues and dependencies across connected projects
- Establish standardized delivery frameworks, playbooks and execution plans
- Lead a small team and act as senior advisor to clients
- Support variety of programs across the NY region based on business need
Requirements
- Senior-level program management experience
- Construction program and portfolio management background
- Experience with sustainability or Net Zero initiatives preferred
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities
- Excellent client advisory skills
