We are seeking an experienced Miscellaneous Metals Project Manager to join our team in York, PA or Richmond, VA. This full-time, direct hire position offers a competitive salary ranging from $65,000 to $85,000 depending on experience.
This role oversees assigned projects from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and cost objectives are achieved while maintaining effective coordination across internal teams and external partners. The Project Manager will lead the planning, coordination, and execution of steel fabrication and erection projects.
You will oversee fabrication and field installation activities for structural steel, miscellaneous metals, joists, and metal decking. The role involves coordinating detailing efforts and managing surveying requirements, reviewing construction drawings and specifications to determine material quantities, sizes, and placement. You will build and maintain comprehensive project schedules covering all phases from preconstruction through closeout while managing submittals, contracts, purchase orders, subcontracts, and related project documentation. Developing schedules of values and processing monthly billing submissions is essential. You will prepare and negotiate change orders including additions, deductions, and scope revisions while fostering strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and project stakeholders.
Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with flexibility required for overtime and occasional Saturdays as project demands dictate.
