Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support large-scale construction projects in our Retail Construction team. The ideal project manager will be driven to provide our clients with excellent service while managing complex retail construction portfolios.
You will manage stakeholders including architects, engineers, and supply chains to deliver compliant projects. Your role involves analyzing, tracking, and effectively managing critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slips, verifying that effective project governance, processes, and systems are utilized.
You will ensure application of best practice on all projects and produce formal project status reports and other reports as required. Additionally, you will monitor the progress of multiple construction projects simultaneously to ensure that approved design standards are applied correctly.
You will manage the interface between all suppliers through monthly trackers and weekly reviews, manage the flow of project information between the project team through regular meetings and written communications, and forecast and update key project milestones and budget. Your responsibilities include managing and monitoring local design teams in accordance with commission criteria, providing technical support to owners, architects, general contractors and regional stakeholders, and providing rapid response to RFIs from the field.
Candidates should have proven experience in project management within the retail construction sector. Strong stakeholder management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously are essential. Experience with design teams and construction governance is highly valued.
