The Role
As an experienced Project Controls Professional in life sciences or data centres, you will establish required processes, templates and tools, and agree the baseline for cost and schedule while monitoring performance against it and incorporating the impacts of risk, opportunities and change in a controlled manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify trends and root causes of deviations against baseline using lead and lag indicators
- Recommend remedial actions to drive best value for the client
- Lead evaluation of project time, cost and quality targets applying governance controls
- Cooperate with remote cost management team for market-tested cost baseline
- Guide and influence general contractor for schedule and cash flow compliance
- Act as key point of contact to client for delivery and commercial issues
- Prepare formal and ad hoc reports focusing on time, cost and quality targets
- Control costs using conceptual estimating, funding stage gates and contingency principles
Requirements
- Experience in project controls within life sciences or data centres
- Strong analytical skills for trend identification
- Knowledge of cost management and scheduling
- Excellent client communication capabilities
- Experience with governance controls and reporting
