The candidate should have a willingness to try new things and adjust course, if needed to meet the needs of the team and organization. Responsibilities: Cover open territories throughout the nation and partner with the Associate Director and FRM to set up a plan for territory coverage. Collaborate with local Regional Account Executive, District Managers, and Sales Representatives to ensure streamlined managed care and provider support. Requires up to 75% travel. Partner with Market Access Colleagues to increase communication between the teams. Act as a liaison for information between the FRM and Market Access Team and relay important information on national calls. Gather insights from the FRM’s and have regular meetings with Market Access to review. Develop a communication strategy to provide education and support to the broader FRM team through virtual national meetings, direct training, and senior manager team calls. Manage the schedule, content, and logistics of virtual national meetings and adjust depending on the needs of the team. Work directly with training to onboard new hires and develop training schedule and content. Ensure the employee has access to all devices and systems needed for the role. Troubleshoot any issues in a timely manner. Stay up to date on changes affecting the organization and ensure consistent communication between cross-functional colleagues and implement strategies based on analytics received from senior leadership. Collaborate with Senior Managers, National Business Manager, Market Access, Program Strategy, and Training to communicate and provide information to the team and organization. Use creativity and innovation to develop proposals based on the business requirements of the organization and the needs of the FRM team. Discuss proposal ideas with the National Business Manager and create a plan based on ideas and information gathered through the meeting. Present finalized proposal to Directors for review. Involvement with special projects and strategic initiatives (pilots, new programs, brand/product expansions). Collaborate with Associate Directors and National Director to monitor KPIs monthly and quarterly and ensure reporting systems are in place for performance updates. This role is field-based, and candidates should live within a reasonable distance of the primary city. Talent will be hired at a level commensurate with experience. 5 or more years of industry experience in access and reimbursement or account management and at least 3 years of experience in specific therapeutic area with experience in Managed Health Care, Payer Account Management, and/or Access and Reimbursement and Excellent territory and account management skills Extensive experience educating others on payer processes, requirement for coverage, and other access related situations for specialty medicines Strong track record of leadership within current role. Strong understanding and ability to communicate technical elements of coding and billing requirements at the National and Regional level across all settings of care Comprehensive understanding of Parts A, B, C and D or Medicare and associated reimbursement dynamics Strong understanding of drug acquisition and dispensing in the specific therapeutic area space (Specialty Pharmacies, Specialty Distributors and white-bagging, etc.) Demonstrated understanding of the rules, regulations and risks associated with provision of reimbursement support services Strong understanding of access and reimbursement support service centers and how to effectively interact in a compliant fashion Bachelor’s degree/ Valid driver’s license An essential requirement of your position is to satisfy all applicable health care industry representative (HCIR) credentialing requirements to gain and maintain entry into facilities and organizations that are in your assigned territory.
