Turner & Townsend is seeking an MEP Design Project Manager to support design leadership for new and existing construction builds with a focus on data center development. This role supports innovation initiatives, contributes to campus master planning, and provides technical and project-level support to the Mechanical Design Lead Director.
The Mechanical Design Lead (SME) PM ensures facilities are designed, procured, and operated with strong focus on energy efficiency, cost effectiveness, and long-term reliability. This role manages third-party design consultant contract documents and ensures design deliverables are completed on schedule and within budget.
Manage preparation and review of contract documents from third-party design consultants. Ensure design deliverables meet schedule and budget requirements. Develop and maintain OFCI equipment specifications and support procurement through submittal reviews and factory witness testing. Maintain company basis of design documentation and contribute to new standards. Identify technologies that enhance data center performance and support engineering standards rollout. Stay informed on industry advancements and perform assignments supporting consistent, high-quality project delivery.
Strong mechanical engineering background with data center experience. Experience managing design consultants and contract documents. Knowledge of OFCI equipment and procurement processes. Proficiency in developing and maintaining technical specifications and basis of design documentation.
