We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Team Manager to join our organization in Marietta, OH. This direct hire position offers a competitive salary up to $220,000 depending on experience, providing an excellent opportunity to lead a talented engineering team.
This role blends technical design leadership with team management responsibilities, supervising a group of talented engineers working on power electronic and protection system designs for commercial and industrial applications. The ideal candidate will provide subject matter expertise while developing and mentoring team members.
You will supervise, mentor, and develop a team of electrical engineers while providing subject matter expertise in electrical system design including power distribution, controls, and protection systems. The role involves coordinating engineering activities across multiple concurrent projects, managing resource planning, timelines, risk factors, and project deliverables. You will work cross-functionally with project management, manufacturing, quality, and product development teams while establishing team goals, priorities, and performance standards. Leading design initiatives related to power protection systems for both new development and existing products is essential. You will develop technical specifications, contribute to subsystem design for critical applications, and serve as technical lead on new product development projects.
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) is required with 8+ years of experience in electrical system design. At least 2 years of team leadership or management experience is necessary.
