The Finance Director, Demand Planning Immunology position at AbbVie represents a critical leadership role within the US Demand Planning team. This position is responsible for monitoring and maintaining the stability of AbbVie products in the U.S. supply channel while ensuring equitable allocation to customers and providing business insights on wholesaler and specialty pharmacy purchase trends across Immunology brands.
The Director will interact with key stakeholders involved in both production and order fulfillment of products in AbbVie's supply chain. Core duties include administering Wholesaler Distribution Service Agreements, providing purchase trend insights, and continually assessing wholesaler and specialty pharmacy buying patterns and financial impacts. The role requires strong knowledge of the business environment and leadership in project management.
Success in this position demands strong working knowledge in financial modeling, data organization, AbbVie's distribution network, and contract administration/compliance. The Director must communicate concisely and proactively while establishing effective cross-functional relationships with Trade, Market Access, Marketing Insights (APEX), Sales Forecasting, Pricing, and Operations teams.
This role regularly communicates directly with external wholesale and pharmacy customers while collaborating closely with internal business partners across FP&A functions. The position serves as a business partner, driving strategic initiatives and maintaining compliance with distribution agreements.
