Turner & Townsend is seeking a Coordinador de Proyectos en Automatización y Control (PLC) to lead quality management and progress tracking in the implementation and programming of PLC-based systems for critical infrastructure projects in Santiago de Querétaro, Mexico.
You will program, configure, and validate PLC systems for control and automation in critical infrastructure projects, ensuring proper integration with control systems, instrumentation, and Building Management Systems (BMS). The role includes supervising installation and testing of control systems, instrumentation, and BMS while ensuring compliance with technical specifications, regulations, and quality standards.
You will monitor physical and financial project progress, reporting deviations and proposing corrective actions. The position requires coordinating PLC integration with structured cabling systems and communication protocols including Modbus, BACnet, and OPC, ensuring interoperability and compliance with technical standards.
You will prepare periodic progress and quality reports for internal and external stakeholders, maintaining clear communication channels across multidisciplinary teams. The role demands strong project management skills combined with deep technical knowledge of automation systems.
The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, Automation Engineering or related field, with 5+ years of experience in PLC programming and management of related projects. Experience with BMS integration and instrumentation is essential, along with solid knowledge of PLC programming platforms (Siemens, Schneider, Rockwell), communication protocols, structured cabling, and BMS systems.
