Turner & Townsend is seeking a Coordinador de Sistemas Especiales y Seguridad Electrónica to lead quality management and progress tracking in the implementation of detection systems for critical infrastructure projects in Santiago de Querétaro, Mexico.
You will coordinate and supervise the installation and commissioning of detection systems including fire detection and technical alarms in critical infrastructure projects, ensuring regulatory compliance, quality standards, and schedule adherence. The role requires ensuring compliance with technical specifications and regulations including NFPA, UL, and local standards.
You will monitor physical and financial project progress, reporting deviations and proposing corrective actions. The position includes managing quality through inspections, functional testing, and documentation of findings while guaranteeing integration of detection systems with CCTV and access control systems through collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
You will prepare periodic progress and quality reports for internal and external stakeholders, maintaining comprehensive documentation of all project activities. The role demands strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
The ideal candidate holds a degree in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunications Engineering or related field, with 5+ years of experience in project management related to detection systems. Experience with CCTV and access control integration is required, along with solid knowledge of fire detection systems, NFPA regulations, BMS integration, and electronic security systems.
