Turner & Townsend is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our Data Center team. This position offers an excellent opportunity for professionals with construction project experience to contribute to large-scale data center infrastructure projects.
You will manage diverse stakeholders including architects, engineers, and supply chain partners to deliver compliant projects that meet client expectations. Your role involves analyzing, tracking, and effectively managing critical milestone activities to prevent schedule delays and ensure timely project completion.
You will verify that effective project governance, processes, and systems are utilized throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring the application of industry best practices on all projects. This includes producing formal project status reports and other documentation as required by leadership and clients.
Monitor the progress of multiple construction projects simultaneously to ensure approved design standards are applied correctly across all deliverables. Manage interfaces between all suppliers through monthly trackers and weekly review meetings, ensuring seamless coordination.
Facilitate the flow of project information between team members through regular meetings and written communications, maintaining transparency and alignment across all stakeholders.
Forecast and update key project milestones, managing and monitoring local design teams in accordance with commission criteria. Provide technical support to owners, architects, general contractors, and regional stakeholders, including rapid response to RFIs from the field.
Offer expertise for cost control, value engineering, and constructability guidance where required. Conduct independent reviews of status reports, drawing submittals, timelines, and costs from architects, contractors, and suppliers to ensure accuracy and compliance.
