The Affiliate Medical Operations Advisor position at AbbVie Vienna ensures that local Medical Excellence and Operations activities comply with all applicable AbbVie processes, Code of Business Conduct, ethics, regulatory requirements, and local laws. This role provides leadership, functional expertise, and high-level project management to medical activities.
You will participate in and support medical operations responsibilities related to non-interventional studies, investigator-initiated studies, and collaborative research studies, ensuring compliance with local laws, guidelines, and AbbVie's internal requirements. The role involves interaction with Global, Area, and local medical teams regarding issues, timelines, resources, and general activities.
Build competence and support for medical affairs teams in strategic and innovative primary and secondary evidence generation (RWE) studies and projects including HTA support. Ensure inspection and audit readiness while supporting implementation of Global Medical Excellence Programs tailored to local needs.
Support creation and facilitate control of Study Budgets for all evidence generation projects, liaising with financial departments in PTP processes and overseeing correspondent invoicing. Manage local Vendor Services contracting related to evidence generation activities.
