The Warehouse Manager is responsible for the warehouse team's efficiency and accuracy in filling customer orders, receiving, stocking, staging, and shipping material in a manner that meets customer demands and company standards for safety, security, accuracy, and productivity. This role is responsible for hiring new employees, training, and ensuring the safety and maintenance of the warehouse.
The Warehouse Manager contributes to a culture and environment focused daily on employee safety and a safe work environment. They follow established Standard Operating Procedures and Environmental Health and Safety Rules, immediately addressing safety concerns. The role provides leadership through direct and indirect supervision of warehouse employees.
The position manages inventory to provide more efficient warehouse flow and ensures accurate receiving and order filling processes. They manage the annual physical inventory counting and evaluate policies and procedures to improve efficiency. The Warehouse Manager serves as primary contact between warehouse operations and other managers.
The role communicates with customers and company personnel to resolve customer problems and expedite customer deliveries when necessary. They evaluate shipping and delivery processes to ensure customer satisfaction.
