Role Summary The Intern will report directly to Lead Project Engineer based in Pangyo, South Korea as part of the Internship learning program. His /Her primary responsibilities will be to learn and support to design systems and hardware in compliance with applicable engineering standards and specifications. As an Engineering & Technology Intern, you are expected to: Learn & apply knowledge of industry practices and international standards to produce high-quality and cost-effective designs Learn to review contract documentation and customer specifications and hardware cabinet design implementation. Learn to create and understand equipment specifications and detailed design project documentation for machine monitoring, protection and conditioning management systems Participate together with project/cabinet engineer and support customer witness testing of systems / designed systems and Cabinet engineering in Vendor Shop during Pre-FAT and FAT (Factory Acceptance Testing) using calibrated approved instrumented tools. Understanding of the electrical engineering concepts deemed necessary for designing the electrical cabinet. Create electrical control cabinet design with all necessary documentation according to industry and customer requirements using AutoCAD tool 2D drawings. Fuel your passion To be successful in this role you must have: Bachelor’s degree / BSC in Electrical / Instrumentation / Instrumentation & Control (University On-going) Excellent written and spoken communication in English, with demonstrated capability to structure and write technical material. Proven experience with document layout, formatting, and editing Good mindset of process workflow co-ordination skills Strong analytical, technical report writing, and organizational skills Knowledge of rotating machinery operation and controls systems will be advantageous To be an effective candidate, you must have: Understanding of ISO design control standards Familiarity with graphics editing programs (AutoCAD or other drafting packages) Strong computer and network skills with familiarity of MS office products Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Knowledge of computer networking and routing and System Architecture Design topology Bilingual in both Korean, English written and speaking will be an advantage.
