The Union Mobile Engineer position operates on a Tuesday-Saturday, 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM schedule. Under the direction of the Chief Engineer, the Mobile Engineer's primary responsibility is to provide joint supervision of the Engineering Department Staff and help manage all operations, maintenance activities, and support as needed by the Engineering Team.
This role includes but is not limited to the management and delegation of preventive maintenance, repairs, and vendor support on building systems and equipment included in the scope of work associated with the contract between JLL and the client. This is a position attached to the Collective Bargaining Agreement between JLL and the International Union of Operating Engineers – Local 39.
Responsibilities include providing technical advice, expertise, encouragement, and instruction to all subordinates in areas such as mechanical systems, electrical systems, control systems, life safety systems, and safety protocols. You will ensure all maintenance activities are completed to the highest standards while maintaining a safe work environment.
