Walmart is hiring a Tire and Battery Service Advisor to join our Tire and Battery Center team. In this role, you will ensure facility and sales floor safety while providing exceptional member service and expert recommendations for tire and battery products.
You will maintain facility and sales floor safety and standards by adhering to all safety policies and procedures. This includes conducting regular safety sweeps, following proper forklift and hazardous material handling requirements, complying with company steel standards, and promptly correcting or reporting unsafe situations to management.
Ensuring the Tire and Battery Center sales floor is organized, stocked, zoned, and merchandised according to company policies is essential. You will handle proper claims, returns, shrink, and damages while presenting and maintaining merchandise by stocking, setting up, cleaning, and organizing product displays. You'll ensure merchandise is appropriately signed and priced, and secure fragile and high-shrink merchandise.
You will monitor the status of tire and battery orders daily and assist members with appointments for installation. This includes communicating lead time changes and order cancellations to members while making alternative suggestions for installation or tire fitments. You'll assist members with tire maintenance and repair services.
Providing expert member service is at the core of this role. You will greet members, identify their needs, assist with purchasing and service decisions, and resolve concerns. Using Sam's Garage, product knowledge, and reference materials, you will recommend the safest and most suitable tire and battery products, explain warranties, and ensure members receive the best service and value.
