Position Summary The Sustainment Lead is responsible for driving the sustainment, optimization, and ongoing support of security systems and processes across global operations. This role provides technical leadership, troubleshooting expertise, and strategic input to ensure secure, compliant, and efficient deployment and operation of security solutions. Key Responsibilities Provide technical leadership for security systems across multiple projects, including design input, implementation support, and ongoing sustainment. Troubleshoot and resolve security-related issues, ensuring timely and effective solutions that minimize operational impact. Ensure security technologies and processes are deployed and maintained in alignment with company standards, best practices, and applicable regulations. Partner with key stakeholders and leaders to improve security posture, reduce risk, and support compliance initiatives. Communicate clearly and transparently with cross-functional teams, effectively conveying technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Foster strong collaboration across Security, IT, Facilities, and regional partners to ensure alignment on security requirements and outcomes. Engage early in project planning to ensure security requirements are integrated into the design and development lifecycle of new initiatives. Provide ongoing support for badge/access control efforts and related security operations globally. Monitor and respond to emerging security issues, escalating as appropriate and driving remediation. Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of security policies, standards, and procedures. Maintain documentation related to security systems, configurations, and processes.
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Security Management, Information Technology, Engineering, or similar) required. Demonstrated experience supporting and sustaining physical security and/or security technology solutions in a complex, multi-site, global environment. Strong technical troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve security system issues. Experience working with access control, badging, and related security platforms (or similar technologies). Proven ability to collaborate with global and regional stakeholders, balancing technical requirements with business needs. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a reputation for clear, transparent, and proactive communication. Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and priorities simultaneously. Experience working in a regulated or compliance-driven environment is preferred. Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive issues to resolution.
