The Supply Chain Specialist II, Logistics at Northwestern Memorial Healthcare is a key member of the Supply Chain team responsible for inventory management, logistics operations, and process improvement. This full-time day position works at Prentice location with a schedule including holidays and every other weekend.
You will perform daily activities including inventory ordering and replenishment, receiving, equipment management, linen services, and mail operations. Acting as a functional expert, you'll provide advice and assistance on key processes within the department while meeting established KPIs.
Participate in the design and development of standard work and processes. You'll provide input on inventory level analysis, consigned product analysis, cost containment, and process improvement initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
Assist with communication of policies, procedures, and standard work methodologies within the department. Work with clinical staff on product change communications and assist all internal customers with supply chain logistic issues.
Communicate with Supply Chain Leadership regarding findings and resolutions. Your expertise will help drive continuous improvement and operational excellence throughout the organization.
