We have an opening for a Supervisor for the Advanced Additive Manufacturing Group. You will perform direct administrative supervision including personnel management of exempt and non-exempt technical employees and personnel actions including selection, promotions, training, performance evaluations, salary recommendations, and corrective actions. This position is in the Advanced Manufacturing & Materials Processing Section of the Materials Engineering Division (MED) within the Engineering Directorate.
Working closely with the Section Leader and Superintendent, you will be responsible for organization and cost-effective utilization of workforce, equipment, and materials, including long-term planning, budgeting, and financial projections. Other responsibilities include ES&H compliance, code regulation compliance, and working on complex to highly complex technical projects. You will solve technical and logistical issues involved in facilities aspects. You will provide daily technical leadership and direct administrative supervision including work planning, setting priorities, assigning daily work, personnel functions, and safety/security oversight. You will provide technical guidance and training in additive manufacturing procedures, processes, and equipment operations.
Active security clearance required. This position requires full-time on-site presence.
