We are seeking a Staff Engineer for eSSD Memory System Architecture to work on system design and firmware feature development for enterprise SSD products. You will leverage knowledge of NAND operation and test modes to boost performance, endurance, and power efficiency.
Develop system design and firmware features for enterprise SSD products with knowledge of NAND operation and test modes. Perform system and component level testing and validation on test platforms including drive-level testing. Contribute to integration efforts with cross-functional teams including PETE, device, and design teams. Support component and drive-level failure analysis efforts. Review product specifications and provide cost/performance competitive NAND memory solutions. Generate comprehensive reports with bold and justified conclusions based on testing and analysis results.
BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering with Masters/PhDs preferred. 5+ years of experience for BS holders and 2+ years for Masters/PhDs in one or more of the following areas: 3D NAND device/design, SSD testing, NAND/SSD Failure Analysis. Experience coding in Python, C++, or Bash scripting.
