Metro's Speech Department is expanding and seeking a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist to work across multiple outpatient clinics in Suffolk County, New York. This position offers excellent compensation with a salary range of $80,000-$90,000 plus performance incentives and comprehensive benefits.
This is a completely outpatient position split between multiple clinic locations. You will work with a diverse caseload including patients with Aphasia, Dysphagia, Pediatrics, School-Age communication disorders, Voice disorders, Cognitive Communication Disorders, and AAC users. Our recent partnership with NYU Langone positions us for significant outpatient clinic growth.
We seek a motivated, compassionate, and forward-thinking Speech Therapist who excels at comprehensive patient assessment and develops creative, effective treatment plans. Strong Clinical Fellow applicants with experience treating adults and dysphagia are especially encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate is flexible, collaborative, and excited by emerging opportunities.
Evaluate patients' speech therapy needs and develop appropriate, individualized treatment plans. Provide quality care based on physician care plans, agency policies, and professional standards. Instruct family members, Home Health Aides, and caregivers in speech therapy techniques and home exercise programs. Work across multiple outpatient clinic locations.
Must be a Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in New York State or eligible for licensure. Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required. Mandatory certifications include First Aid, AED, and CPR from live courses.
