Raffles The Red Sea is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Specialty Restaurant Manager to lead our distinctive dining establishment in Umluj, Saudi Arabia. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of our specialty restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences while maintaining the highest standards of service excellence that define the Raffles brand. You will be responsible for creating a dynamic dining environment that reflects our commitment to culinary innovation and hospitality. Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse restaurant team to deliver outstanding customer service and operational excellence Manage daily restaurant operations, including scheduling, staffing, and performance management Develop and implement restaurant policies, procedures, and standards that align with Raffles brand guidelines and Saudi Arabian hospitality regulations Oversee menu development, pricing strategies, and specialty dining offerings in collaboration with culinary teams Monitor and manage restaurant budgets, food costs, inventory, and profitability metrics Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards at all times Build and maintain strong relationships with guests, addressing concerns and gathering feedback to continuously improve service quality Manage reservations, special events, and customized dining experiences for guests Analyze sales performance, identify trends, and implement strategies to drive revenue growth Coordinate with hotel departments to ensure seamless integration of restaurant services within the resort Train and develop staff on service standards, product knowledge, and customer engagement techniques Maintain accurate records and reports on operational metrics, guest satisfaction, and staff performance
Minimum 5 years of progressive restaurant management experience, preferably in fine dining or luxury hospitality settings Proven track record of successfully managing specialty or upscale dining establishments Strong knowledge of food and beverage operations, menu planning, and culinary trends Demonstrated expertise in budget management, financial analysis, and cost control Proficiency with Point of Sale (POS) systems and restaurant management software Comprehensive understanding of health, safety, and food hygiene regulations Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff Outstanding customer service orientation and guest relations experience Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across departments Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management abilities Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make decisive decisions under pressure Knowledge of Saudi Arabian hospitality standards and local market dynamics Preferred: Experience with international hotel brands or luxury resort operations Preferred: Wine and beverage pairing knowledge Preferred: Event management and special dining experience coordination Preferred: Multilingual proficiency (Arabic and English highly valued)
