The Precision Medicine Immunology group is seeking a Senior Scientist II to advance drug development through biomarker strategies and personalized treatment tools. This translational research role utilizes cutting-edge technologies to study immunology, identify biomarkers, and validate drug mechanisms across AbbVie's Immunology pipeline.
You will lead development of clinical biomarker strategies and assays for inflammatory and autoimmune diseases including Dermatology, Gastroenterology, Rheumatology, and Fibrosis. The role spans late discovery through clinical trials, requiring independent experiment design, execution, and troubleshooting. You will evaluate drug target engagement, receptor occupancy, and pharmacodynamics while collaborating within interdisciplinary teams to advance translational research.
The successful candidate brings strong background in immunology or immune-oncology with passion for translational research. Expertise in advanced molecular techniques, flow cytometry, and human tissue analysis is essential. You should demonstrate ability to interpret complex results and translate findings into actionable biomarker strategies supporting human dose projection and early clinical development.
