About the Role
The Retail Assistant Store Manager at Vuori helps the Retail Store Manager lead the retail sales team by forging connections with customers while communicating Vuori's brand values through insightful product knowledge and a happy, optimistic outlook. This role encourages the team on how to maintain Vuori's standards in retail sales and customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Experience Leadership
- Work with the sales team to ensure each customer receives the best experience possible
- Take ownership of the sales floor and sales team to prioritize customer experience
- Prepare fitting rooms, find sizes, and provide knowledgeable feedback on merchandise
- Forge lasting relationships with customers by engaging about product details and inviting them to upcoming events
Business Operations
- Lead day-to-day store operations when the Store Manager is not present
- Motivate the sales team to achieve sales goals in a team-based commission environment
- Seek new product knowledge in fashion and activewear to serve as an expert
- Lead the team in project completion while maintaining customer experience focus
- Communicate inventory needs to support business goals
Team Development
- Be knowledgeable on new products and top sellers, sharing insights with customers and team
- Encourage team members to maintain Vuori's standards
- Support the Store Manager in team leadership initiatives
Qualifications
Candidates should have previous retail experience with leadership capabilities, strong communication skills, and a passion for the fashion and activewear industry.
