The Restaurant Leader is a critical leadership position responsible for the strategic direction of their restaurant. This role maintains operations standards and drives results through people development, sales growth, and profit optimization. The Restaurant Leader teaches, models, and upholds Raising Cane's culture standards for all crewmembers, customers, and partners.
The Restaurant Leader ensures overall financial success of the restaurant including forecasting and budgeting. They ensure restaurant compliance with company standards, policies, and laws. This role hires and terminates management-level crewmembers, creates work and training schedules, and develops management-level crewmembers through performance management.
The position acts as manager on duty, opens and closes the restaurant, and manages cash handling. The Restaurant Leader monitors profit and loss statements and develops strategies across all operational areas to drive continuous improvement.
The role includes working in a fast-paced kitchen environment requiring extended periods of physical exertion such as walking, standing, lifting, and bending. The position involves both indoor and outdoor work in varied temperatures, working with food products, common allergens, industrial equipment, and commercial cleaning products requiring personal protective equipment.
