You will provide direct care to assigned patients and assist with additional patient care when necessary. All decisions and actions on behalf of patients and families are determined in an ethical manner, ensuring the highest standards of wound care.
You will collect and analyze assessment data to determine nursing diagnoses, collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare team members, and develop care plans to attain realistic outcomes. Education founded on evidence-based wound care practices is a key component.
You will assess and record patient status, identifying care needs upon admission and point of care entry. The role requires organizing assessment health data accurately, identifying problems requiring immediate attention, and validating diagnoses with the healthcare team.
Documentation of diagnoses facilitates the determination of expected outcomes and care plan development, ensuring continuity of care for wound management patients.
