Ummh is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Med Surg unit as part of the Baylor Program. This position offers an excellent opportunity for nursing professionals seeking a weekend-focused schedule with competitive compensation. You will work 24 hours per week on Saturday and Sunday, with 12-hour day shifts from 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM.
Under the direction of the Nurse Director, you will function as a professional nurse utilizing the nursing process in caring for patients from admission to discharge. You will be responsible for incorporating general, age-specific, and unit-specific competencies into all patient care provided. Your role includes assessing patient needs, developing care plans, administering medications, monitoring patient progress, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Candidates must hold current RN licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. BSN preferred. Previous Med Surg experience is highly desirable. Strong clinical assessment skills, excellent communication abilities, and compassion for patient care are essential.
This position offers a competitive hiring range of $38.65 to $78.34 per hour, with final offers based on experience, skills, qualifications, and internal equity. A signing bonus may be available - eligibility will be confirmed during the interview process. This is a union position represented by MNA-Marlborough (Massachusetts Nurses Association).
