Northwestern Medicine seeks a skilled Radiologic Technologist for our imaging department. This position requires capability in taking all types of radiographs with several different types of equipment while serving as the first-line interface with patients for their imaging needs.
You will instruct and prepare patients for radiographic and fluoroscopic examinations, producing high-quality films consistently. The role requires proper use of markers, CR systems, PRID, ADC Multiloader, and QS workstation. You will write complete patient histories for radiologists and utilize PACS with minimal errors.
The Radiologic Technologist assesses patient pain that may interfere with imaging procedures and makes appropriate physician contact for intervention. You will demonstrate knowledge of Pyxis medication systems, practice medical and surgical aseptic procedures, and multitask effectively across several areas.
Hours needed are during the week and weekends on a rotating schedule. This position offers the opportunity to work with advanced imaging technology in a supportive healthcare environment.
Radiologic Technologist certification and registration required. Experience with CR, PACS, and various radiographic equipment is essential.
