AbbVie Biologics Analytical Research & Development is seeking a Principal Research Scientist II to join our world-class team in Biologics Analytical R&D. This role is responsible for all CMC analytical activities related to the development of AbbVie's pharmaceutical products, spanning from candidate molecule selection through transition of analytical methods to commercial labs.
Our biologics characterization group develops state-of-the-art analytical techniques for in-depth characterization of therapeutic proteins and other novel biologic molecules using mass spectrometry and other advanced analytical techniques. We are looking for diverse candidates with strong scientific and leadership experience to drive exceptional science and innovative product development strategies.
In this position, you will develop and achieve discipline strategy in alignment with functional goals and key scientific objectives. You will collaborate with experts across the organization to advance industry-leading analytical capabilities and make meaningful contributions to AbbVie's pipeline of innovative medicines.
