Northwestern Medicine is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychiatrist to join our growing Behavioral Health team in Woodstock, IL. This role offers the opportunity to practice across multiple levels of care, contribute to service line development, and help expand access to high-quality mental health services within the region.
Provide clinical coverage for the Partial Hospitalization Program and Intensive Outpatient Program. Deliver psychiatric emergency services coverage in collaboration with the care team. Maintain an outpatient ambulatory clinic offering comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management. Participate in call rotation with approximately 1:5 coverage including overnight call. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care. Support program development and expansion of advanced behavioral health treatment modalities.
We welcome candidates with experience or interest in developing and providing Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, Electroconvulsive Therapy, IV Ketamine therapy, and substance use disorder treatment and program development.
MD or DO degree with completion of an accredited Psychiatry residency. Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry. Eligible for Illinois medical licensure. Strong commitment to patient care, interdisciplinary collaboration, and clinical excellence.
