Physician: Obstetric Anesthesiologist – Winfield, IL (NM Central DuPage Hospital)

Position Overview

Northwestern Memorial Healthcare seeks a Physician specializing in Obstetric Anesthesiology for our Central DuPage Hospital in Winfield, IL. This role involves patient care in obstetric and general anesthesiology at Northwestern Medical Group (NMG) and Northwestern Medicine hospitals, office locations and health care facilities.

Core Responsibilities

The successful candidate will maintain a clinical schedule on such days, hours, and locations as necessary to provide timely and comprehensive medical services to NMG patients. Responsibilities include providing on-call coverage as reasonably required by NMG, referring patients requiring specialized medical care to specialists within NMG's affiliated provider network, and regular participation in practice unit meetings and quality assurance activities.

Compliance & Standards

Physicians must ensure compliance with billing, documentation and related policies, procedures, systems and practices established by NMG as payors with which NMG contracts. All patient care decisions prioritize patient preferences, insurer determinations, and best medical interests.

Qualifications

Required: Doctoral degree with completion of subspecialty fellowship training in obstetric anesthesiology. Board certification or eligibility required. Illinois medical licensure required.
