As a Payroll Specialist at H&M Group in Makati City, you are responsible for payroll accounting and general payroll administration. You will ensure that all employees are paid in accordance with local laws and regulations, as well as the company's established processing guidelines. This is a one-year contract position offering valuable experience in international payroll operations.
You will review, process, and maintain payroll-related documentation, including new hires, employee data changes, terminations, daily workers, and benefits administration. Maintaining accurate employee data and payroll records in both electronic and paper formats is essential. You will manage and update Annual Leave records, staff lists, and HMO and Life insurance coverages. Administering time and attendance and leave management systems ensures all records are accurate and aligned with payroll processing requirements.
You will coordinate with payroll outsourcing providers by sharing new hire information, payroll changes, and other required data to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing. Supporting internal colleagues with payroll-related questions and matters is part of your role. You will work with external auditors and authorities on issues concerning payroll, fiscal, and social insurance matters.
You will be responsible for timely and accurate lodgments and remittances of government contributions as well as loans and benefits, including SSS, Pag-IBIG, and PhilHealth. Ensuring compliance with all local regulations is critical to this role.
You will work closely with internal stakeholders across the organization including HR, Accounting, Health and Safety, and Area Team, as well as external payroll outsourcing providers.
