You will communicate with patients and guests by greeting them upon arrival, confirming identity, and providing necessary information related to their visit. The role involves completing check-in and check-out functions as directed while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
You will confirm and update patient identification, demographic, and insurance information. Patient registration, consents, and authorizations are key responsibilities. The position requires collecting co-payments, past due balances, and point-of-service payments while maintaining accurate financial records.
You will keep waiting areas clean and comfortable, inform patients of delays or appointment changes, and schedule appointments as necessary. This role may involve floating to other Immediate Care Clinics or departments as needed.
