About the Role
The Patient Care Coordinator - PRN Resource (Floater) plays a critical role in greeting patients and providing outstanding customer service while coordinating care for each patient from initial evaluation to discharge. This floater position offers flexibility and the opportunity to work across multiple clinic locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet patients and provide outstanding customer service
- Coordinate patient care from initial evaluation through discharge
- Answer phones and handle patient inquiries professionally
- Perform electronic scheduling and appointment management
- Complete accurate data entry tasks
- Verify current personal and financial information
- Maintain patient charts and electronic medical records
- Collect, post, and deposit patient payments
- Handle faxing, filing, and other administrative duties as assigned
- Cover Welcome Ware duties as needed
Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent required
- Excellent in-person and phone customer service skills
- Close attention to detail
- Great time management and organizational skills
- Team player attitude and energetic with focus on excellent customer service
