The Medical Esthetician performs cosmetic consultations when recommended by providers. This full-time day shift position is located at Northwestern Memorial Healthcare's Geneva, Illinois location.
Safely operate laser equipment to administer laser hair removal and skin rejuvenation treatments within the specifications of the equipment manufacturer and physician. Maintain a safe and sanitary treatment room environment.
Capture pre- and post-treatment photos adhering to HIPAA guidelines. Promote additional services and cosmetic products. Evaluate effects of treatment, observe and note patient response and progress, make recommendations and adjustments as appropriate.
Provide cosmetic consultations to patients. Maintain clear communication in Epic EMR. May perform other duties as assigned.
Licensed Aesthetician in Illinois required. Diploma or certification of completion from an accredited institution for Aestheticians. Zero to two years' experience in a relevant role. High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
Previous experience with laser and light-based technology, medical-grade chemical peels, and use of skincare products in a medical spa, dermatology, or plastic surgeon's office preferred. Specialty certification as required for permanent cosmetic professional.
