Position Overview

JLL is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our Workplace Management team for a prestigious multi-media headquarters at our London Bankside location. This role is essential to maintaining optimal building performance and ensuring exceptional workplace experiences for our client's employees and visitors.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks including inspections, servicing, and repairs of mechanical systems
• Maintain HVAC systems, pumps, motors, and other mechanical assets
• Conduct planned preventative maintenance to ensure ongoing reliability and efficiency
• Respond promptly and effectively to mechanical faults, breakdowns, and emergency situations
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues using appropriate tools and techniques
• Determine the most effective course of action for repairs
• Coordinate and liaise with internal teams and external contractors
• Ensure minimal disruption to operations during maintenance activities
• Maintain documentation of maintenance activities and system performance
• Support workplace experience initiatives

Requirements

Candidates should have strong mechanical engineering expertise with experience in building systems maintenance. Knowledge of HVAC systems, pumps, and motors is essential. The ability to respond to emergencies and work in a fast-paced environment is required.
